Autumn-Rose serves as the Administrative Office Assistant. She graduated in 2011 as a first generation graduate. She first became involved in community advocacy through the SRHD Eastern WA Community Health Worker initiative in 2015. This work is important to Autumn-Rose; having navigated intergenerational pathways within the child welfare system and being of Native American descent. Becoming involved in this work gave her hope as well as necessary skills and connections needed to leave an abusive marriage in 2017.
In the pursuit of stability, she experienced a workplace injury in 2019, which significantly impacted her ability to advocate for and provide for herself. In 2024, she successfully completed an internship with Peer Spokane.and is a first generation college student working towards a degree in Integrated Community Services at Spokane Falls Community College.
Having gone through these experiences gives her a unique lens and in turn, she offers unconditional support to others in her community and works with them to break down their individual barriers to live the life they want to live. She facilitates support groups in community spaces at the Women’s Hearth and Peer Spokane and has taught several trainings, workshops and events. She has been in the field working as a Recovery Coach and Certified Peer Specialist since 2021.
She serves as a board member of Peer Spokane and is a part of the West Spokane Wellness Partnership, a coalition committed to prevention and the support of youth and families. She has experience in advising community-based organizations that are included but not limited to Lutheran Community Services Northwest, the Mockingbird Society, and the Washington Peer Network, to find supportive solutions to community care & advocates for change within these systems that impact so many individuals.
